It was five hours since SG-10 was supposed to contact Earth, yet still no help had arrived. The cell was dark and damp, and despite the blindfolds, the team knew they were underground. A door opened down the hallway, and light filled the cell. There were two armed guards and Callias, the leader of Arcion. The cell was opened, and one of the guards stepped in and grabbed Docfate. He tried to resist, but the guard knocked him out with the but of his gun, and dragged him away. The door slammed shut, and the cell was plunged into darkness once again. On the surface of the planet, Decus and a team of marines had been dispatched to see what had happened. They arrived at the village, and met with Callias, who assured them that their friends were fine, and were getting some rest at the local inn. Decus wasn't so sure, though, and ordered his men to search the village.
It had been was an hour before Docfate returned. He was badly injured, and obviously needed medical attention. The team began to discuss their escape plans...
A soldier brought a small cart into to cell. The cart had some bread and water on it, just enough to curb their appetites. While the guard was removing the food from the cart, Bahamut took the mans gun out of its holster. The soldier turned to have a pistol in his face, and immediate put his hands up.There were two guards outside the door, one carried a handgun, and one a shotgun. Sandtiger was helping Docfate along, and after a quick recon, the team began to look for a way out.
Two of Decus’s men had found a hatch with a ladder behind one of the towns buildings. A quick descent revealed a vast bunker with many levels. The team ducked into a room while a group of soldiers marched by, and then made their way to what was marked as the holding cells. Despite searching several hallways lined with cells, SG-10 was nowhere to be found. They heard gunfire coming from several floors down, and one of the marines had found an armory with several P-90s in it.
Both of the pistols were out of ammo now, and the shotgun would be soon. they had searched several hallways before they found one with a ladder. Docfate had been shot in the chest, and was losing blood. The team soon realized that they could not take him up the ladder. Kegeen decided to stay with Doc until help arrived.
At the top of the ladder, Decus and his team were caught in a firefight with several soldiers. two marines were wounded, and more soldiers were coming. Bahamut climbed up the ladder and attacked the soldiers from behind, and together they were able to defeat them. Aly was sent to help Docfate, and he eventually made it up the ladder.
Back at Earth, General Murphy was shocked to hear that the Arcions were hostile. Docfate was put into intensive care at the Cheyenne Mountain infirmary, and Decus was put on the team to take his place. Manga was put in charge of a group of marines which included Asrts, and became a secondary team to SG-10.
