So - as Baha has told a lot of you, we are no longer a clan (O_o). we are a gaming Community. Basically, nothing changed. The title of Clan Leader has changed to Community Leader. Clan Officer has been changed to Community Officer. Division leaders are now the clan leaders for their game. However, their name will stay the same. Also, Sandtiger3528 has been promoted to the rank of Officer. Just one more quick note, if any of you guys are looking for something to do, get on a forum for one of the games we play, and promote the Community. Mention teamspeak, the website, and perhaps some other stuff.
So its basically what was discussed at the clan meeting, but you didn't make it seem that apparent at the time.
You kinda had your hopes and dreams on a server, and a rediculasly pointless community forum that wouldn't get any attention. Which is basically where my original argument derived from.
It seems we are the only ones who ever visit the current forum on a regular basis.
So as it stands, we are now a community of sub clans, who operate each game that we spread out into.
well after KegeenKHG said something at the clan meeting, I thought about it, and then talked to Hoover Docfate Sandtiger3528, and KegeenKHG about it. And you do have a point on many terms...I have been saying we should recruit more people into the clan. This actually might make people want to visit the site more often.
Now I was just listening to KegeenKHG when he said that as of right now we cant be a "clan" seeing how none of us play the same game....we are all over the place.
I am not trying to make this into the SGW/SGR forums. They can't be replaced. All I did is this
1. Just changed the name seeing how we were a community when SGR was shut down.
2. Since I don't play some games like Rift. I can't be a successful clan leader in those games. So what I did was just made the old clan leaders and clan officers into people who will just over look everything as in the forums the website and taking in complaints when people have them.
The Division leaders will just take over the role of clan leaders, as they are playing those games.
I wanted to also give the chance for other people to take charge over making decisions for their decision.
Though Apparently Hoover doesn't remember me talking to him about changing it, as I talked to Docfate, KegeenKHG, and Sandtiger3528 about what they thought about it.
What the hell is going on inside your tiny brains!? A clan IS a gaming community ...DUH! Stop trying to force changes whithin the community, its gonna do nothing but tear it apart. Strength is in numbers yes, but those numbers need to be gained over a long period of time for it to be a solid group, or some members will just fade into the background ...which is what is happening now! You're losing site of what a clan is over some stupid quest to make it into the SGW/SGR forums.
IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN, AND YOU'LL KILL THE CLAN TRYING!!!!!
um - I'm not trying to create the sgw forums, I am trying to spread the word about the clan. Yes, I hear what you say about getting members slowly overtime, but that means that we need to mix with an outside community, which were not. we are all playing minecraft together. I do agree that changes within the "community" arent good, but dont blame me, baha has kinda been changing things in the clan without talking to any of us. when I got on he said guess what, were a community now. kinda annoyed me, but I cant really do much. If you have something to say, tell him, or tell me.
